led taillight conversion

thinking about doing a led taillight conversion and was woundering if anyone had some tidbits of information on the matter.

My .02...Tape off the body with masking tape by where you plan to cut...Saves the paint from stray shavings that like to scratch and eat painted surfaces. Easier to mark the layout on the tape with a Sharpie as well...

what year you got? I got LOTS of info on LED tails if you got an 01 or newer

my trucking buddy has a 4 1/2 hole saw, when i get back from vacation ,i am gunna sink some in my 98, do the flasher mod and should be good

Picked up the two Grote lights i listed in previous post from power brake and spring for 70 each, seem to be very well made, will install in the morning and let ya know what i think from there

installed lights and love them so far, Much Much brighter then stock, very simple install, just wish they had been direct plug in, speaking of which anyone know where to get weatherpack connectors?
